There’s something special about a festival that’s so connected to its whenua. Taniwha’s Den has been gathering people in Hinakura since 2010, with electronic music, illuminated art, camping and a strong emphasis on respect, community and looking after each other. It’s deliberately intimate, proudly independent and rooted in the landscape rather than dropped onto it. Back for 2027 the Den is one for people seeking a boutique bush experience.
