I've been to GV, so I can recommend it personally. Lo-Fi have a reputation for beautifully considered house music events and Golden Valley delivers: a carefully curated mix of local and international artists on a private rural site high above Waihi Beach, with expansive views to blow your mind. Boutique, intentional and just a little bit magic when everything comes together.
